Born on October 24, 1976 as Reema Lamba, Mallika Sherawat hit the headlines with her Bollywood film Khwahish, opposite Himanshu Malik, in 2003. Though the movie was a flop, this young jat girl from a small village in Haryana, became the talk of the town for her bold appearance and a number of lip-locks in the film.
She then appeared in yet another baring and daring avatar in her next flick Murder in 2004, which become one of the biggest hits of the year and fetched the actress a few award nominations. Mallika then appeared in few more Bollywood flicks but her acting ability was always over powered by her sexy image.
After her stint in Hindi cinema, the bold girl went International with projects like The Myth and Hisss andPolitics of Love. From appearing in Hollywood films to dining with US president Barack Obama, Mallika made waves overseas too with receiving Honorary Citizenship of Los Angeles in recognition of her career achievements and charitable work.
